Music is one of the greatest forms of expression. A good song can transcend language barriers and borders. This is something that Norks, a young rising artist from Nazareth Palestine realized at an early age. After being introduced to the music of Kanye West and Metro Boomin’s production, he began producing music of his own. At the age of sixteen, he started learning as much as he could about producing and implementing the things he learned in the creation of his own songs.
His early music, as well as the songs he is now producing and releasing,were his way of moving forward. The impact of what he was writing became clear from the start as even his earliest listeners noted how motivational, inspiring, and even therapeutic his music could be. For Norks, this was a big compliment as he could remember how the music that had inspired him to start on this journey had all those same qualities.
Soon, he felt ready to start releasing some of his tracks. In 2021 he put outtwo singles, “Yeah YeahYeah” and “Slow Down”. These early songs introduced his music to the world and soon he began having a following. His next single “From New York to Nazareth” became a quick hit as it managed to combine an innovative beat with unique and honest lyrics. From there on, his mission to bring impactful and honest music that can help others and even work as therapy became even clearer.
On May 6th of 2022, he released his first album titled “IX XXVI MMXX”. The album is made up of 7 tracks, five of which are collaborations with other notable musicians. His work with Jakari the Poet and POBDDA in “From New York to Nazareth” as well as his collaborations include working with ROBBY, Philly D, and lanthesage, and others in the industry. The authenticity of all of their sounds and their drive to create something original have allowed the tracks in the album to be notably different from one another while working with similar themes.
