Andy Horner who is known on his socials online as Anxious Andy is no foreigner to the limelight. Andy who’s 48 years old and from Shepley, Huddersfield in West Yorkshire was recently nominated for two awards in his birthplace city and when the votes came in he found out that he had made it as a finalist. This is a huge achievement for the mental health mentor and campaigner who hales from West Yorkshire.
Andy said “ This is huge for my mental health campaigning as it shows I’m making a real difference. Andy who has 1.1 million followers on Facebook and many more across all his other social media platforms always thanks his followers and interacts with them on his on Facebook and Instagram which is Anxious Andy.
Andy also hit public news last month when he stressed about the failures within mental health services, Andy helps others even though he struggles daily himself with his own mental illness. Andy said that the government should be putting a lot more funding to help people who cannot get to take time off work. The mental health Campaigner
can’t have time off work as he’d not be able to pay his bills he said.
The cost of living in the UK is at an all-time high which is putting strains and stress on people and driving people into debt and poverty which can also lead to further issues for people who are struggling with poor mental health.
