Spiritual Psychotherapist and Author Maria Micha is a woman with a grand mission. Hard to describe in a few words, too complex to typecast and impossible to limit, Maria is plotting an ambitious plan to harness her gifts to take her healing prowess to a larger audience.
With nearly 3 decades of experience in the field of healing, counselling, fashion design and expressive arts, Maria is ready for her next innings, proving that career evolution has no limits when all your gifts amalgamate and work in tandem. In her long and fruitful professional journey, she evolved the Anagenesis Method – a harmonious blend of multiple modalities of counseling and healing.
With formal training in the UK and the U.S., Maria holds degrees in Psychology, Hypnotherapy, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Systemic and Adlerian Therapy, and Psychodynamic theory. She also has a certificate in health coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, NY – having begun her academic journey with a Cambridge University English certification in 1989. Additionally, Maria is a certified PSYCH-K® Facilitator, a NeuroChangeSolutions Corporate Trainer, and a member of academic honor societies including Chi Sigma Iota and the Golden Key International Honour Society.
Born in Athens, Greece, and having lived and worked in three continents – Europe, Asia and North America, Maria’s rich career as a spiritual psychotherapist has allowed her to blend the best of science and the ancient wisdom of the millennia to devise multi-modal therapy systems that solve the issues of today, for a discerning clientele. Her vision is to bring the same benefits to a wider group of people who are in pain and are looking for breakthroughs.
“For over three decades, I have dedicated my life to helping people heal emotional pain, release generational trauma, and rediscover their inner strength. As a spiritual psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, and healer, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families who trusted me with their most vulnerable struggles. Each session has been transformative—but also limited. At most, I can help one or two people at a time.”, she shares.
“Yet millions are silently carrying grief, anxiety, and disconnection. Too many believe they are alone, or that their suffering must remain private. That is why I believe it is time to bring therapy into the public space—to create a talk show where healing is not hidden but celebrated, where one person’s transformation can inspire thousands.”
The answer – a talk show. The talk show format uniquely combines intimacy with reach. It allows for conversations that feel personal while touching millions of lives. Oprah Winfrey demonstrated how deeply television can shape hearts and minds when it creates space for authenticity and truth. My vision is not just another show offering quick advice, it is therapy in action. On stage, individuals, couples, or families will share their truth and be guided through real therapeutic work. Imagine a young woman releasing lifelong self-doubt, a couple rediscovering compassion, or a family breaking free from generational pain. When healing happens publicly, it creates ripples far beyond the stage.
The impact of the TV show format extends in two directions. The studio audience becomes part of the healing circle, resonating with every story and often realizing the words spoken to one person are the words they themselves have long needed to hear. For viewers at home, the effect is just as powerful. They witness others open up and discover that they, too, are not alone. Practical tools, breathing techniques, reframing exercises, or communication strategies, will be woven into every episode, empowering audiences to begin their own healing journeys. Each show becomes a collective session: the guest on stage receives deep work, the live audience resonates, and thousands at home learn and grow.
This is where the impact multiplies. In private practice, one breakthrough affects a single life. On a talk show, that same moment becomes a lesson for thousands. Maria says, “when I guide a couple toward healthier communication, every couple watching learns something valuable. When I help someone reclaim their self-worth, viewers at home begin to rewrite their own limiting beliefs. Instead of helping one or two at a time, therapy becomes a movement, shared, accessible, and contagious.”
Maria adds, “my dream is simple yet powerful: a talk show that heals thousands at once. A platform that breaks the stigma around therapy, normalizes emotional healing, and spreads transformation far beyond the studio. This is more than television; it is a movement. One conversation, one breakthrough, one episode at a time, we can begin to heal the world together. And just as Oprah opened living rooms to conversations that changed culture, my mission is to be the next voice who brings healing, therapy, and transformation into the mainstream, helping people not just to survive, but to truly thrive.”
With the unique amalgamation of her knowledge, experience and an innate ability to see through the veneer of strength and access the center of pain and chaos in individuals and groups of people that she meets, Maria is determined to build the next phase of her career through this impactful medium.
