Michelle Alleyne, a sustainability strategist, educator, and podcast host, is gaining global attention as she competes as a finalist in her group for the Elton John AIDS Foundation Style Icon Awards. Now she is building a global sourcing tool and launching workshops to teach designers how to build responsibly from concept to creation.
“Fashion reflects who we are,” she says. “The future is quality over volume, transparency over waste. Repair, resale, and rental should feel as natural as purchase. When we ask who made this and how long we will love it, we move fashion forward.”
