We have been searching for one of the leading demolition companies in Cheshire and came across Total Demolition. We made contact and asked what it takes to become one of the leading demolition contractors operating throughout Cheshire.
Andy told us, to be a leader in the demolition industry you must set new high standards, yet delivering cost-effective services to our clients. Its equally important to purchase new environmentally friendly demolition machines in order to protect the environment and equally reduce our fuel burn, therefore we can pass the savings onto our clients.
Another key objective is to employ highly experienced demolition operatives, in order to successfully complete all projects on-time and on budget. We constantly train our employees to ensure they are fully compliant on our demolition projects.
Recycling is another main goal, we aim to recycle 90% of waste from the demolition process. Yet again we can pass the savings onto our clients.
We also asked what is the main hazardous materials in demolition. Andy told us, Asbestos is a significant hazard and we have a specialist asbestos removal team that removes all AIB from the site before demolitions can commence. Specialist asbestos surveys are required in order to identify all hazardous materials. Total Demolition them assign our team to remove the AIB and ensure it is taken to the appropriate waste facility.
We currently offer demolition services throughout Cheshire, Congleton, Chester and surrounding areas. We have an ever growing client base, from small businesses through to local authorities.
We asked Andy what is required to have a house demolished in Cheshire, the house demolition process is simple. Firstly you need to submit a Notice Of Intended Demolition (Section 80). Once this has been submitted, the local authority will normally reply within 8 weeks. Should there be any issues, the council will reply with a Section 81 which will highlight any concerns they may have.
The entire demolition of any building is made easy by having a highly experienced team, incidents on demolition sites happen when you fail to plan your project correctly.
The demolition of commercial premises is the same process.
