A.H: Growing in this business is important, so I keep learning. Taking acting classes helps me get better. Recently, I’ve been practicing improvisation to add spontaneity to my performances. I’m also exploring my voice in music classes, trying to learn new things for more opportunities.
London Daily Post: The industry is known for its unpredictability. How do you handle the uncertainty that comes with the acting profession, and what keeps you motivated during challenging times?
A.H: In this unpredictable industry, I stay grounded by remembering my love for acting. When things get tough, I see challenges as opportunities for a comeback. Having a positive mindset and learning from setbacks keeps me motivated to push through the uncertainties.
London Daily Post: As a young actor, you’re likely exposed to a variety of scripts. Is there a dream project or type of character you haven’t tackled yet but aspire to in the future?
A.H: I’ve always dreamed of being in a mind bending thriller, you know, those movies that mess with your head in a good way. Also, I’d love to explore characters in fantasy films, where I can let my imagination run wild.
London Daily Post: Many actors have role models or influences who inspire them. Are there any actors or filmmakers who have had a profound impact on your approach to acting, and if so, how?
A.H: I look up to actors like De Niro, Pacino, Brando, Nicholson, and Depp for their intensity, passion, naturalness, charm, and versatility. In the filmmaking realm, the storytelling brilliance of Nolan, Tarantino’s unique narratives, Fincher’s precision, and Kubrick’s visual mastery have all left a mark on my approach. And then there’s Elvis, who showed how to rock both in acting and music, becoming an enduring American icon.
London Daily Post: Juggling academics and a burgeoning acting career is undoubtedly challenging. Can you share some insights into how you manage your time effectively and maintain a balance between your studies and acting commitments?
