The Hive offers a wide range of specialized and curated lines of coffee, including Gardelli Specialty coffee. Now Coffeextraction and the Hive are collaborating to bring you our specialty coffees which are picked from the best Italian, UK, or International roasters. These roasters have been selected after careful consideration and after meeting with them personally. In this way, we can guarantee that they have a great understanding of the importance of choosing coffee cherries and roasting them carefully so as to achieve great quality every time.
As part of our collaboration, we are excited to announce that we will also be partnering up with World Coffee Roasting Champion Gardelli, who will be our main long-term partner in our new subscription-based project. Gardelli coffee is carefully selected as they are known to choose some of the best specialty green beans in the World. According to the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) cup score any coffee scoring 80+ on their scale is considered Specialty Coffees while those at 95 and above are Premium Coffees. Gardelli Coffee scores around 90 points on the SCA cup ranking system and includes within it rare, nano-lot coffee. This is why we feel confident to bring their coffee to you because we know that they always strive for excellence with every cup.
Not only that, but Gardelli has perfected the art of roasting coffee and is currently one of the best roasters in the World. This means that from bean to roasting they are ensuring excellence in every cup so that when you at home are brewing your coffee you can know that you are drinking a quality product. It is also important to note that we are currently the only importers of Gardelli Specialty Coffee to the UK, as such we want to introduce you to how great this product can be and how easily it can reach your home through our service.
This is why we have created a new UK-based subscription service that will allow you to get the best freshly roasted coffee at your door every single month. The service works in a simple way so as to ensure the quality of the product once your coffee has reached you. Firstly, you must choose how many months you would like to subscribe for. Currently, you have four different options to choose from, a one-month, three months, six months or one-year subscription and the cost of the subscription ranges from £24.99 per month. Once you have subscribed you will get the opportunity to select your coffee for the month by the 25th of each month. Roasting your coffee starts in the Gardelli facilities at the 26th of each month and from there on is delivered to the UK within 10 days. Usually, we expect to deliver to your home at the start of each month, with most of our orders getting delivered around the 7th of each month. In this way, we can guarantee that you are getting freshly roasted coffee.
As roasting is done collectively for all orders placed by the 25th of each given month if you order is placed on the 26th of the month or later you will need to wait until the next month to receive your order. This has to do with providing Gardelli the needed time to roast your coffee properly and with care, as such all roasting starts on the 26th of each month for delivery within the next few days. Within your order you might receive different micro Lotti, this is dependant on the time of the year as well as the crop production of each period.
