With the rise of social media, it can be easy to live a fake life. But what happens when you realize that your whole identity is built on make-believe? What do we know about ourselves and our values until they’re put under scrutiny by self-awareness or love interests who see through allurements like an act from “The Notebook”?

Authenticity isn’t attainable overnight; instead, there are small moments throughout every day where authenticity becomes more real than anything else–like falling head over heels in romantic bliss with someone whose company reminds us why living authentically matters so much anyway.

What Is Authenticity According to Stavros Baroutas

With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Baroutas has developed a unique style to help people become better leaders. After studying abroad and getting an MBA from one top-ranked university (Kingston), he is certified by some well-known coaches such as John Mattone or Allan Miler from Innermetrix, who offer their expertise in this field through certifications; additionally, they have also trained countless individuals on how to be successful at what you do while working together successfully!

According to Stavros, the concept of authenticity is one that has been around for centuries, but it’s never gone out-of-date. In today’s fast-paced world with its endless distractions and information overload, we need to find our path to be successful; there can’t any other way around this roadblock than by learning more about ourselves through self-discovery, which will lead us towards success!

People who know themselves well enough become unafraid or ashamed when showing their true feelings (authenticity). They feel confident knowing what they’re made of without having anything left up for grabs because once you’ve figured your gameplan, everything else falls into place

Here Are Some Ways You Can Become Your Authentic Self

1. Be More Real Than You Think You Are

When was the last time you were completely honest with yourself? How did it feel to be fully open and vulnerable with someone other than a therapist? Do you ever feel like you’re not being true to yourself, even if you’ve never felt this way before? If so, try saying these words out loud: I’m afraid of my own shadow. Then tell yourself that you aren’t lying to anyone but yourself.

2. Look Inward For Answers

Who do you spend most of your time with? Is it the people who remind you of your innermost fears? If so, then maybe it’s time to make new friends. Who do you hang around with because you want validation from them? Who makes you feel safe and secure? Maybe it’s time to change your environment and surround yourself with people who make you feel better.

3. Ask Yourself The Hard Questions

What does your life mean to you? What do you value? Why do you have such strong opinions about things? Who are you today? Who will you be tomorrow? What’s the best version of you?

4. Open Up About Your Feelings

We all get angry sometimes. We all cry. And we all grieve. It’s okay to be human. Talk to someone about how you feel. It doesn’t matter if it’s a friend, family member, or lover. Letting your feelings out is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do, but doing it helps you become the person you need to be.

5. Don’t Overthink Things

It’s easy to second guess yourself, but there are times when you need to go with your gut. Trust your instincts, and let your heart guide you. If you feel like you’ve made a mistake, chances are you haven’t. There’s no point in trying to analyze every decision you make, especially if it goes against your personal beliefs. Just learn from your mistakes and move on.

6. Make A List Of What You Want Out Of Life

How many goals do you have for yourself? What do you want to accomplish? Where do you want to go? Write down as many of these things as possible. When you’re done, take a look at what you wrote and ask yourself if you’re living up to your potential.

7. Say No To People Who Aren’t Worth Saying Yes To

If you’re always saying yes to people who aren’t worth it, then it’s time to start saying no. You don’t owe anyone anything, so it’s okay to say no. As long as you’re saying no to people who aren’t right for you, you’re already ahead of the game.

8. Get Rid Of Everything That Isn’t You

Is there anything in your home that represents a different part of you? Do you still have pictures of your old life? Is there any jewelry that reminds you of your ex? Does your closet contain clothes from the past? Is there anything in your home that makes you feel uncomfortable? If so, get rid of it. If you’re not sure what to do with it, donate it to charity.

9. Be Grateful

For everything. Take a moment to think back on all the good things that have happened to you. This is the easiest thing you can do to become more authentic.

10. Laugh At Yourself

When was the last time you laughed at yourself? Or at least smiled? It’s okay to laugh at yourself when you screw up, but laughing at yourself means you’re comfortable enough with yourself to be able to accept your faults. It’s important to know that you’re not perfect, but that doesn’t mean you should stop striving for perfection.

Final Words

Authenticity is a journey. It’s not something you’ll achieve overnight, but it’s a process that starts with each little step. It’s okay to make mistakes. It’s okay to fall. It’s okay to get hurt. It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to laugh. But it’s also okay to pick yourself back up and keep moving forward. Don’t forget to enjoy the ride.
