MBM was born in Lebanon on the 31st of July of 1997. His early career was marked by the Education course that he took at Geneva University. The topic of the course was Understanding Financial Markets, and under the guidance and teaching of Dr.Michael Girardin -a lecturer in Macro-Finance at the University of Geneva- he learned all of the basics about financial markets and their characteristics. It was this course that also taught him how those financial markets are linked to the economy.
The course included learning about many different useful aspects of economics. From how the price of stocks and bonds are computed to why they move, he was given all the skills to understand how to work the market and understand economic concepts that are crucial in the investment market. He was also taught a lot of the notion of risk and risk assessment as well as how to use it and why it is important when measuring an investment’s performance.
After the theoretical bases were covered in the course, they began focusing on less popular markets such as gold, emerging markets, real estate, hedge funds, and private markets. Through these market analyses, he was taught how to measure particular risks and return opportunities. More importantly, he was given the skills required to build an efficient portfolio.
The course did not only teach him about investments, but it also provided him with information about the policies of central banks and their impact on financial markets, linking in this way the general economy and its effect on the price of financial assets. What made the course even more unique is that he was taught about all of these concepts from UBS experts and corporate professionals, which assisted him with understanding how the global market works as well as how to achieve financial goals.
After finishing his course in Geneva, he also pursued a course from Harvard University in Justice, which was taught by professor Michael Sandel. Much like how the Geneva program allowed him to understand the market system, this course helped him learn and explore classical and contemporary theories of justice. Instead of only theorizing, the course and discussions allowed him to consider the application of these theories into everyday life and law. Some of the topics discussed included concepts such as affirmative action, human and property rights, and the role of markets. This course helped hone his abilities to analyze, discuss and expand his point of view on different topics.
Apart from his education, MBM also has many different hobbies, which he can often be seen taking part in his social media accounts. These include many different sports, such as football, surfing, boxing, swimming, golfing, bike riding, and horse polo. He is also an avid chess player and often spends his time playing Ball Pool.
