Can you introduce yourself to our audience?
My name is Philip Galvin I am an EDM DJ From Dublin, Ireland Certified in Advanced Broadcasting with a background in Radio Presenting and Acting.
Creating content since 1997 long before Social Media even existed, I am a true Lifelong Natural Born artist. I have also acted on Many Irish Television programmes including Irish Police Drama Red Rock which was also on BBC in the UK.
I also have a Comedy Sketch YouTube Channel with over half a million views, creating content for that channel since 2007

How did you get started as an EDM DJ?
I always had an interest in synthesizers and keyboards, I own a Yamaha Synthesizer and if you look back on my Comedy Voice Over sketches since 2007 you will notice that I created the majority of all the theme tunes and intros using my keyboards and Synthesizers
A few years ago I started experimenting with DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) creating music, but I took it a step further than most Djs because I have become an excellent songwriter during the process, I would create the melody and beats and then get ideas about the kind of Lyrics I wanted on the tracks, now collaborate with various artists who feature on my tracks.
What inspired your new single, “Stay With Me This Summer”?
My new song ” Stay With Me This Summer ” is one of a number of songs I wrote in the same year 2024,
I wanted to make a some catchy summer tunes, inspired by Tropical House music mixed with a hint of pop
Artists like Jonas Blue and Kygo inspire me in this particular music style.
Why did you choose this title for the track?
Because it’s about staying with someone during the summer and enjoying your time together in a nice place making nice memories
It’s a great song, it’s track number 4 on the upcoming Album.
What can fans expect from this release?
A catchy summer tune that will stick in your head.
How does this song differ from your previous work?
The song itself feature’s Ukrainian singer Liliia Kysil, who I previously worked with on my very first single ” Love Letters “
She has done an outstanding job on this new song. The Lyric Video for it is also top notch
The lyrics in this one get better as the song progresses, it’s more of a summer vibe.

What has been the biggest challenge in creating this track?
Writing the song Lyrics for it, I was going back and forth to the song since 2024 to 2026 re-arranging the song lyrics, and in some parts replacing them until I got it exactly the way I wanted it, making the music is a job on it’s own, but thinking about the song lyrics is a whole new job, it takes time, you need to really think about it. I think it helps the fact that I have a lifetime history of writing scripts, writing voice over sketches, writing music, writing radio shows. My creativity is always in motion so it helps in that regard.
Also then the song has to be Mixed and Mastered professionally so it’s Radio Ready and ready to stream with the right LUFS etc.
Do you have any upcoming projects after this release?
I’m glad you asked that, I’m not even started yet with what’s to come!
I am working with professional singer and songwriter based in Argentina by the name of Emy Smith who has previously provided vocals for major labels like Universal Music and Spinnin’ Records.
We are teaming up to create a cover of an old 90’s Dance Classic, which I am really looking forward to, this will be the first ever cover song I have ever done, all the other songs are all originals and my own but there are some songs that you wish you had created, and this is one of those songs.
I have also been Writing my new book since 2021 and is now nearly complete, this book is a Horror / Thriller and is already titled and the artwork complete for it, so that’s un the works also, I can’t wait for it.The Universe is conspiring in my favour.
