Charity fundraising platform givestar has unveiled a new offer for marathon runners across the United Kingdom to incentivise training and fundraising despite the worst of the British weather.
givestar’s “Run a Marathon, Fundraise, Get £100” offer, gives participants a £100 Pro Direct voucher when they raise at least £200 for charity.
The offer is open to runners taking part in any formally organised marathon, including events such as London, Brighton, Manchester, and Edinburgh. To qualify, participants need to set up a fundraising page on givestar and use the code MARATHON2026.

givestar says the campaign is built to recognise the commitment runners make in training and fundraising, while also helping charities generate more income. The £100 voucher can be spent on running shoes, clothing, or sports technology through Pro Direct.
Alex Coleridge, Co founder and CEO of givestar, said: “givestar has quickly become the go to fundraising platform for runners who want to maximise their impact. Tens of thousands of runners have already raised millions of pounds for charity on givestar, powered by technology proven to generate higher donations.”
The platform includes several tools designed for endurance fundraisers, including the option to support up to four charities at once, Tap to Donate for contactless giving through mobile devices, and built in sharing features to help people tell their story and grow support. givestar reports that Tap to Donate gifts are, on average, 50 percent higher than typical online donations.
The company has also confirmed that runners who already started a page on another platform can still take part. Existing totals from external fundraising pages can be added to a new givestar page, helping runners reach the £200 threshold for the voucher more quickly.
To join the current campaign, runners can visit givestar, create a fundraising page using code MARATHON2026, and share their link with supporters. Once the £200 milestone is reached, the £100 Pro Direct voucher is issued.
